Description:

Our most technical running shorts. Lightweight with bonded seams, a 3½'' inseam and three pockets for storage, they're built for longer days in the mountains or your favorite backyard linkups when utility matters. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

Specs & Features:

• Quick-drying body fabric is made with 90% recycled polyester certified by OceanCycle and sourced from coastal communities at risk of plastic pollution/10% spandex woven with four-way stretch, allowing for ease of movement and a comfortable fit, and treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that's made without PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals) to shed light moisture

• Wide stretch-knit waistband adds comfort, provides moisture management and reduces bulk, with an internal drawcord for a customizable fit

• Three large pockets with stretchy, durable, quick-drying fabric for stashing essentials: one zippered pocket with a key loop at the center-back waistband, and two semi-secure pockets along the side waistband

• These shorts have comfortable liner briefs, and there's a locker loop for hang drying

• Mid rise for a more flattering fit and function across a wide range of body types

• Inseam is 3½'', and there's a reflective logo at the front-left hem

Everything Patagonia makes has an impact on the planet.

Learn more about the materials and processes they use.

Fair Trade Certified™

An ever-growing number of our products are Fair Trade Certified™ for sewing, which means we pay a premium to the workers in the factories that make them. The Fair Trade program also helps to create better working conditions and safeguards against the use of child labor.

bluesign® System

Every textile Patagonia uses is the result of a complicated manufacturing process, making it difficult for them to evaluate all the raw materials, dyes and chemical auxiliary materials each of their suppliers use. bluesign® technologies, based in Switzerland, helps with this analysis, working at each step in the textile supply chain to assess and approve chemicals, processes, materials and products that are safe for the environment, workers and customers.

Recycled Polyester

An important fiber in Patagonia's line, polyester allows them to build lightweight materials that dry quickly and can be used in a variety of applications, including trail-running tops and yoga tights. Polyester also blends well with natural fabrics like cotton. But virgin polyester is derived from petroleum, which comes at a high environmental cost.
